PENNY-WISE DIVA
I love to shop-love to shop! It just occurred to me to share my ability to buy everything for almost nothing. I like finding my bargains at high-quality thrift stores, or consignment stores. I like regular department stores, I like buying, "Out of Season". it may be Winter clothes you're buying in the Summer or, clothes that are suppose to be out of style. I had fun in 2013, at the Thunder Valley Casino's Halloween costume contest. I bought my Michelle Obama costume there. I got a nice red blazer for $2.50, and a sexy black dress for $1.50, the black patent leather pumps were $3.50! That's what I'm wearing in this photo, (that's a VOTE sign I'm holding up) I think I had the most unique Michelle costume that year.
You just need to be creative, and use your imagination. This Zombie costume, I wore on The California Lottery's Halloween contest page, is a good example of that. I just used odds and ends from dollar stores, make-up etc. I used an old wig and tossed it around. I think I spent $2.00 on that costume! I'll share some more ideas with you later. Don't forget Father's Day is coming up, I'll come up with some thrifty, fun projects, they won't break the bank--i promise!
